Welcome to the Newtown High School Fine Arts Department. Amazing things happen here. Students are involved in quality award-winning programs that provide them opportunities to showcase their talents and leadership. Our department is a welcoming place in which all students can participate. Students become part of a warm and supportive community, work as a team, and develop a family bond. Our classes will take you wherever you are to help you grow and move forward in your artistic endeavors. Opportunities abound – visit museums, attend professional concerts and Broadway shows, travel to festivals and competitions. The creativity and innovation that you develop in the arts are not only life skills but those valued by colleges and businesses. Try a course and explore – you may discover a new passion.
